Parmi ces explorations fonctionnelles respiratoires on trouve&nbsp;: les tests pharmacologiques, la mesure de la diffusion du CO des poumons vers les vaisseaux sanguins, la pl\u00e9thysmographie, la mesure de la force musculaire diaphragmatique et la spirom\u00e9trie.<br>La spirom\u00e9trie mesure la <strong>Capacit\u00e9 Vitale Lente<\/strong> (CVL), la <strong>Capacit\u00e9 Vitale Forc\u00e9e<\/strong> (CVF), le <strong>coefficient de Tiffeneau<\/strong>, le <strong>Volume Respiratoire Maximal par Seconde<\/strong> (VEMS) et le <strong>D\u00e9bit Expiratoire de Pointe<\/strong> (DEP).<br>En d\u2019autres termes, le spirom\u00e8tre, ou <strong>spirom\u00e8tre volum\u00e9trique<\/strong>, est un outil utilis\u00e9 en <strong>spirom\u00e9trie<\/strong> pour mesurer la capacit\u00e9 pulmonaire d\u2019un patient. Il permet de diagnostiquer une anomalie pulmonaire gr\u00e2ce au volume d\u2019air inspir\u00e9 par le patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"Les-diff\u00e9rents-types-de-spirom\u00e8tre\">Les diff\u00e9rents types de spirom\u00e8tre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il existe <strong>diff\u00e9rents types de spirom\u00e8tres<\/strong>&nbsp;: le <strong>spirom\u00e8tre m\u00e9canique<\/strong> et le <strong>spirom\u00e8tre \u00e9lectronique<\/strong>. Le principe de Venturi correspond au ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration des particules gazeuses ou liquides lorsque leur espace de circulation se r\u00e9tr\u00e9cit et que la pression baisse. Le pneumotachographe mesure donc le d\u00e9bit de gaze dans la bouche du patient par la chute de la pression lors de l\u2019expiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"spirom\u00e8tre-\u00e0-turbine\">Le spirom\u00e8tre \u00e0 turbine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>spirom\u00e8tre \u00e0 turbine<\/strong> prend deux mesures&nbsp;: \u00e0 l\u2019inspiration et \u00e0 l\u2019expiration. Par l\u2019effet Doppler, le spirom\u00e8tre \u00e0 ultrason mesure les ultrasons le traversant \u00e0 l\u2019inspiration et \u00e0 l\u2019expiration. En soufflant, le patient modifie les longueurs d\u2019ondes \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de l\u2019appareil et le spirom\u00e8tre mesure cette fr\u00e9quence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"spirom\u00e8tre-\u00e0-filaments-thermiques\">Le spirom\u00e8tre \u00e0 filaments thermiques<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <strong>spirom\u00e8tre \u00e0 filaments thermiques<\/strong>, ou <strong>spirom\u00e8tre \u00e0 fil chaud<\/strong>, mesure la capacit\u00e9 pulmonaire du patient gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la r\u00e9sistance \u00e9lectrique d\u2019un fil. Le patient modifie la temp\u00e9rature du fil en respirant et le spirom\u00e8tre mesure sa temp\u00e9rature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"spirom\u00e8tre-incitatif\">Le spirom\u00e8tre incitatif<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le spirom\u00e8tre peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre un outil de <strong>travail sur sa respiration<\/strong>. Il s\u2019agit du <strong>spirom\u00e8tre incitatif<\/strong>. Son utilisation quotidienne apprend \u00e0 respirer en prenant de plus grandes inspirations. Utilis\u00e9 plusieurs fois par jours, il r\u00e9duit les risques de pneumonie ou d\u2019autres probl\u00e8mes respiratoires apr\u00e8s une intervention chirurgicale. Il utile notamment apr\u00e8s une chirurgie cardiaque.<br>Le <strong>spirom\u00e8tre d&rsquo;incitation<\/strong> est compos\u00e9 de trois chambres, chacune contenant une boule et d\u2019un tube li\u00e9 aux trois chambres dans lequel le patient devra inspirer.<br>Pour r\u00e9ussir cet exercice le patient doit vider ses poumons puis prendre une grande inspiration dans le tube. Les boules vont alors monter et il faut essayer de les garder en hauteur le plus longtemps possible. Puis, le patient doit retenir sa respiration 3 secondes avant de souffler doucement.<br>Pour \u00eatre efficace, cet exercice doit \u00eatre r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 10 fois par heure. Il est de plus en plus fr\u00e9quent que des m\u00e9decins prescrivent un changement d\u2019environnement ou de travail pour des patients d\u00e9veloppant des pathologies pulmonaires. C\u2019est le <strong>test de spirom\u00e9trie<\/strong> qui diagnostique ces pathologies. <br>De plus, une personne faisant de l\u2019<strong>asthme<\/strong> ou atteinte de <strong>bronchopneumopathie chronique obstructive<\/strong> (BPCO) r\u00e9alisent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des tests spirom\u00e9triques afin de surveiller l\u2019\u00e9volution de leurs capacit\u00e9s respiratoires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Dans quels cas est prescrit le test de spirom\u00e9trie ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Il peut \u00eatre prescrit \u00e9galement dans les cas suivants&nbsp;:<br>&#8211; Sympt\u00f4mes de <strong>probl\u00e8mes respiratoires<\/strong>&nbsp;comme un essoufflement ou une toux grasse chez les fumeurs et anciens fumeurs<br>&#8211; <strong>Suivre une<\/strong> <strong>pathologie pulmonaire<\/strong> chronique connue&nbsp;: asthme, bronchites chroniques ou autre maladie ORL r\u00e9currente, emphys\u00e8mes<br>&#8211; <strong>D\u00e9pister une pathologie<\/strong>, insuffisances respiratoires, affectations telles que l\u2019asthme, maladie chronique des bronches (broncho-pneumopathie)<br>&#8211; Avant une <strong>intervention chirurgicale<\/strong> pour s\u2019assurer du bon fonctionnement des poumons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"test-de-spirom\u00e9trie\">Comment se d\u00e9roule un test de spirom\u00e9trie&nbsp;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Le protocole du test spirom\u00e9trique<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors d\u2019un <strong>examen de spirom\u00e9trie<\/strong>, le patient respire dans un appareil mesurant sa capacit\u00e9 ventilatoire. La capacit\u00e9 pulmonaire d\u2019une personne varie selon son sexe et \u00e9volue avec son \u00e2ge mais \u00e9galement avec son poids. C\u2019est pourquoi les r\u00e9sultats du test sont obtenus par comparaison avec d\u2019autres r\u00e9sultats d\u2019individus du m\u00eame \u00e2ge, m\u00eame sexe et m\u00eame poids que le patient.<br>Les <strong>r\u00e9sultats par comparaison<\/strong> imposent un cadre de r\u00e9alisation du test. Un protocole strict doit \u00eatre respect\u00e9 lors de l\u2019ex\u00e9cution du test de spirom\u00e9trie. Si les conditions d\u2019examen ne sont pas les m\u00eames que celles pr\u00e9sentent sur les autres examens comparatifs, alors les r\u00e9sultats ne peuvent pas \u00eatre concluant.<br>Les valeurs utilis\u00e9es par le <strong>spirom\u00e8tre<\/strong> doivent \u00e9galement \u00eatre les m\u00eames que celles des autres spirom\u00e8tres compar\u00e9s. Ces conditions sont respect\u00e9es dans un \u00e9tablissement de sant\u00e9 tel que chez le m\u00e9decin g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste, en clinique, laboratoire ou \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Le d\u00e9roulement du test spirom\u00e9trique<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Avant de r\u00e9aliser un <strong>test de spirom\u00e9trie<\/strong> il est conseill\u00e9 de ne pas manger trop lourd, fumer, boire de l\u2019alcool ou avoir une activit\u00e9 physique car cela alt\u00e8re la respiration et pourrait fausser les r\u00e9sultats.<br>Ensuite le test se d\u00e9roule ainsi&nbsp;:<br>1) Le patient r\u00e9pond \u00e0 un questionnaire sur son \u00e2ge, sexe, poids, taille et activit\u00e9s physiques pratiqu\u00e9es. Ces informations seront compar\u00e9es aux autres profils similaires pour obtenir les r\u00e9sultats.<br>2) Se tenir debout ou assis, le dos bien droit pour assurer une capacit\u00e9 pulmonaire optimal.<br>3) Se boucher le nez pour ne respirer que par la bouche.<br>4) Inspirer et\/ou expirer dans le spirom\u00e8tre selon le test \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser et l\u2019appareil utilis\u00e9.<br>5) Recommencer l\u2019exercice trois fois afin de certifier les r\u00e9sultats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"diff\u00e9rence-spirom\u00e8tre-d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre\">La diff\u00e9rence entre un spirom\u00e8tre et un d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Que mesure le d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout comme le <strong>spirom\u00e8tre<\/strong>, le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drexcomedical.fr\/53-spirometres-debimetres\">d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre<\/a> est un appareil de mesure des \u00c9preuves Fonctionnelles Respiratoires. La diff\u00e9rence se trouve dans les mesures qu\u2019ils prennent. Aussi connu sous le nom de <strong>Peakflow<\/strong>, le d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre de pointe mesure uniquement le <strong>VEMS<\/strong> et le <strong>DEP<\/strong>.<br>Le <strong>d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre<\/strong> permet de conna\u00eetre le degr\u00e9 d\u2019obstruction des bronches. C\u2019est pourquoi il est souvent utilis\u00e9 par les patients souffrant d\u2019asthme ou de mucoviscidose car ils ont besoin de mesurer leur souffle pour adapter leur traitement. Cet appareil peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 par un professionnel de la sant\u00e9 ou par un patient \u00e0 domicile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Comment effectuer un test d\u00e9bitm\u00e9trique ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre se compose d\u2019un tube dans lequel souffler et d\u2019un curseur et d\u2019une \u00e9chelle gradu\u00e9e. Lorsque le patient souffle dans le d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre, le curseur bouge sur l\u2019\u00e9chelle et cela donne le DEP. <br>Pour r\u00e9aliser une mesure avec un <strong>d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre de pointe<\/strong> il faut \u00eatre assis ou debout bien droit et v\u00e9rifier que le curseur est bien \u00e0 z\u00e9ro avant de d\u00e9marrer. Ensuite, le patient doit prendre une grande inspiration et souffler le plus fort possible dans l\u2019embout buccale du d\u00e9bitm\u00e8tre. Pour s\u2019assurer d\u2019avoir un bon r\u00e9sultat, il faut r\u00e9p\u00e9ter l\u2019exercice trois fois. Le r\u00e9sultat le plus haut sera le bon.<br>Un DEP dit normal correspond \u00e0 50 \u00e0 350 litres par minute chez l\u2019enfant, 400 \u00e0 550 litres par minutes chez la femme et 500 \u00e0 650 litres par minute chez l\u2019homme.
