Ce sigle correspond \u00e0 une estimation de la <strong>quantit\u00e9 d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne dans le sang<\/strong>. Cette estimation est obtenue en comparant le pourcentage d\u2019h\u00e9moglobine oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9e et non oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9e dans le sang. La SpO2 donne donc le <strong>pourcentage d\u2019h\u00e9moglobine oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9e dans le sang<\/strong>.<br>On parle \u00e9galement de SaO2, la saturation art\u00e9rielle en oxyg\u00e8ne. La SaO2 correspond au pourcentage d\u2019h\u00e9moglobine oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9e dans les art\u00e8res. La SaO2 est obtenue par pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement et donne un r\u00e9sultat pr\u00e9cis d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne dans le sang.<br>Deux autres indicateurs d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne dans le sang existent&nbsp;:<br>&#8211; La PaO2&nbsp;: la pression partielle d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne.<br>&#8211; La CaO2&nbsp;: la quantit\u00e9 d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne dans le sang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"La-SpO2-normale\">La SpO2 normale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour atteindre le sang, l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne est transport\u00e9 par l\u2019h\u00e9moglobine des globules rouges. En inspirant, l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne entre dans les poumons. Puis, l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne traverse les alv\u00e9oles pulmonaires et est absorb\u00e9 par les globules rouges. Le sang circulant dans tout le corps, il peut lib\u00e9rer de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne aux muscles, organes et autres tissus qui en ont besoin. Pour avoir une SpO2 normale il est donc n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019avoir une respiration normale.<br>Une SpO2 de 95 ou une SpO2 de 97 sont tout \u00e0 fait normale. En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, <strong>une SpO2 normale se situe entre 95 et 100%<\/strong>.<br>En revanche, une SpO2 inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 95 est insuffisante. Par exemple, une SpO2 de 94 est d\u00e9j\u00e0 faible. Cela signifie que le sang n\u2019est pas assez oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9. Un sang mal oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9 est appel\u00e9 hypoxie. A 90% ou moins, l\u2019hypox\u00e9mie dont souffre le patient est une insuffisance respiratoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"Quand-mesurer-la-SpO2\">Quand mesurer la SpO2&nbsp;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le taux de saturation puls\u00e9e de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne est constamment mesur\u00e9 en cas de <strong>pathologie respiratoire<\/strong>. A l\u2019h\u00f4pital, le SpO2 est prise dans les cas suivants&nbsp;:<br>&#8211; Retour d\u2019une intervention<br>&#8211; Pendant une anesth\u00e9sie<br>&#8211; Au service des urgences<br>&#8211; Au service de r\u00e9animation sur les personnes sous respirateur ou susceptibles de l\u2019\u00eatre<br>La SpO2 est donc prise au repos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On surveille l\u2019oxyg\u00e9nation du sang des enfants dans les cas suivants&nbsp;:<br>&#8211; Pathologie respiratoire (pneumonie, asthme, bronchiolite, etc.)<br>&#8211; Bronchiolite chez un nourrisson<br>&#8211; Pour \u00e9valuer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de son a\u00e9rosol<br>&#8211; Diagnostiquer une cardiopathie chez un nouveau-n\u00e9 cyanos\u00e9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"Comment-mesurer-le-taux-d\u2019oxyg\u00e9nation-du-sang\">Comment mesurer le taux d\u2019oxyg\u00e9nation du sang&nbsp;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour \u00e9valuer l\u2019<strong>h\u00e9matose<\/strong>, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire l\u2019oxyg\u00e9nation du sang, on peut utiliser trois mesures diff\u00e9rentes&nbsp;:<br>&#8211; La SpO2&nbsp;: la saturation puls\u00e9e en oxyg\u00e8ne du sang<br>&#8211; La SaO2&nbsp;: la saturation art\u00e9rielle en oxyg\u00e8ne<br>&#8211; La PaO2&nbsp;: la pression partielle en oxyg\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Par pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement de sang dans une art\u00e8re<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>SaO2<\/strong> est mesurable uniquement par pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement, et ce, par un professionnel de sant\u00e9. En h\u00f4pital, ce sera l\u2019infirmier qui pratiquera ce pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement. Il peut aussi \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par un m\u00e9decin.<br>Le pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement de sang art\u00e9rielle permet d\u2019obtenir un r\u00e9sultat pr\u00e9cis et fiable du taux d\u2019oxyg\u00e9nation dans le sang. Il donne \u00e9galement la PaO2 et la PaCO2 ce qui permet d\u2019analyser l\u2019\u00e9tat respiratoire du patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-pale-cyan-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Avec un oxym\u00e8tre de pouls (ou saturom\u00e8tre)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le plus souvent, l\u2019<strong>oxym\u00e8tre de pouls<\/strong> (aussi appel\u00e9 <strong>saturom\u00e8tre<\/strong>) est utilis\u00e9 pour mesurer la SpO2. En effet, c\u2019est le moyen le plus simple et le plus rapide de conna\u00eetre la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infirmiers.com\/etudiants-en-ifsi\/cours\/la-saturation-pulsee-en-oxygene.html\">saturation puls\u00e9e de l\u2019h\u00e9moglobine en oxyg\u00e8ne<\/a> d\u2019un patient. Contrairement au pr\u00e9l\u00e8vement, l\u2019<strong>oxym\u00e8tre<\/strong> mesure de mani\u00e8re non invasive. Tr\u00e8s simple d\u2019utilisation, il suffit de le clipper sur un doigt pour obtenir la SpO2. Le saturom\u00e8tre indique \u00e9galement le rythme cardiaque, en plus du taux de saturation puls\u00e9e en oxyg\u00e8ne. A l\u2019h\u00f4pital, il est utilis\u00e9 constamment sur des patients souffrant de difficult\u00e9s respiratoires, d\u00e9tresse respiratoire ou sous support ventilatoire.<br>L\u2019oxym\u00e8tre de pouls peut \u00eatre plac\u00e9 sur un doigt de main ou de pied.
